A VB software to program the device

"Softcell flter design" package is a Software distribuited from Analog Devices to program the down converter AD6620.This software can generate a configuration *.f20 file witch is importoted by "dbx control software"

dBOX digital radio receiver fundamental blocks.

  • AFE analog front-end: band-pass filter (+ AGC, not yet implemented)

  • ADC AD converter (AD6640 or AD6645)

  • DDC DIGITAL DOWN CONVERTER (AD6620)

  • HOST interface  PC implemented with a PIC microcontroller (PIC16F876, www.microchip.com):

    • hardware interface with LPT (future development: USB or PCI interface)

    • control & acquiring VB software.

  • stand-alone version with DSP board
